Summer 2018 Scholarship Application Form

Honolulu Museum of Art Young Artist Program

Through the generous support of donors in the community, the Honolulu Museum of Art offers a limited number of scholarships for Young Artist classes. These scholarships are open to youth age 5–18, K through 12th grade. Please carefully read the information below.

Accepting applications March 1 – 30, 2018. A letter will be sent to your email address when the scholarship is awarded. Please provide an email address. If no email address is provided, a letter will be mailed to the home address.

Important Scholarship Information:

1. Scholarship application will be reviewed by a committee.

2. Once scholarships have been awarded, the scholarship is non transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The monetary value of each scholarship depends on the current semester‘s tuition cost.

3. If the scholarship is not used, you forfeit the scholarship, but may reapply for a scholarship the following semester.

4. The scholarship can be applied towards any 12-session Young Artist class, Summer Young Artist class, or Art Camp classes.
The scholarship covers partial tuition for the Art Camp class. The remaining tuition balance for Art Camp must be made two weeks before the start of classes.

5. The student must be able to attend 80% of the classes (student cannot miss more than 4 classes in the Summer semester and no more than 2 classes during the Fall and Spring semesters).

6. Classes are subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.
