Youth Arts Scholarship Application Form for Ages 16-18 Spring (April - June 2025)

The Scholarship Program for HoMA's Youth Art Classes provides opportunities for students ages 3-18 to further their artistic development. Scholarships are awarded to students on the basis of financial need.

This application is for students ages 16 to 18 and who are therefore eligible to take adult level classes at the Honolulu Museum of Art School with parent/guardian consent. Proof of consent is provided by a parent/guardian on the terms page of this form.

Classes that offer scholarships are held at the Honolulu Museum of Art School on Saturdays and Sundays. The classes connect to HoMA's world-class art collection and are instructed by professional artists in Drawing & Painting, Studio Art, Printmaking, Fiber Arts, Ceramics, and Metals & Jewelry.

TO APPLY: Complete a scholarship application below via this form, or complete a printed scholarship application, then deliver it in person or by mail.

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Spring 2025 applications must be submitted online, postmarked, or dropped off to the Honolulu Museum of Art by March 7, 2025, end of day to be considered.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:
- Scholarships are awarded to students based on financial need and a commitment to participate.
- A limited number of scholarships are available each session and are awarded on a first come, first served basis to eligible students.
- Qualified applicants who aren't awarded in the current scholarship cycle will be prioritized if they apply for the next scholarship award season.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Scholarship awardees will be notified via email or phone by March 21, 2025 with a confirmation of the student's enrollment.
- Scholarships are non-transferrable, if for any reason you need to decline or cancel, please do so before March 28, 2025.
